Coaching
I have a Level 7 Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching from the Institute of Leadership and Managment. As well as being an active coach I have benefited from executive coaching from CECO. This article in QED featured coaching. I was the keynote speaker at the 2009 CIO Executive Summit where I focused on creating winning teams through coaching.

Following my secondary education at the Perse School, Cambridge, I went to Durham University where I was awarded a 1st Class Honours Degree in Engineering Science in 1984. I won prizes for the best overall degree result and best project. I became a Chartered Engineer (Institute of Mechanical Engineers) as part of my Graduate Training programme with TI/British Alcan.
